Although urban gospel recording
artiste and music minister, Obiora Obiwon (@obioraobiwon) has made the news in
recent times mostly for his family strides, making music has also occupied his
time. In addition to continually touring and playing in churches,
conferences and weddings; the release of the new video "F.a.t.h.e.r 2.0"
marks a major return to mainstream media in the journey towards a long
awaited third album.
"F.a.t.h.e.r 2.0", directed by critically
acclaimed film maker Wudi Awa, simply features an intense Obiwon in
a search for internal peace, as conveyed in the visuals and passionate vocals,
a story which still needs to be told as relating to his musical changes. The
video focuses the audience mostly on the music, message and ambiance, with the
intent to stir up questions, thoughts and possibly deep emotions.
The artiste enthuses in his own words "I'm
glad to be able return to recording...I can't wait to share the fresh sounds
I've been given with the many who love what I doing".
